Kente Mazui (Ghana) is a black version of our exquisite top in honor of the late African scholar Ali Mazrui. A beautifully assembled African top made with 3/4 sleeve mixed fabric top combining Ghanaian traditional printed fabric with soft linen. Accents of the Ghana print carry over to the sleeves.

Designed on traditional African styles but 100% modern and sophisticated. Clean stitching and finishes you expect from Ocacia. This is a limited edition top as the Akan Kente print is imported from deep in Akan country and is therefore limited. If you need white please let us know as it is subject to availability of white soft linen. We cannot guarantee exact prints, it is important to understand that prints do not get repeated and will vary from picture. 

Ali Mazrui (1933 – October 12, 2014) Ali Mazrui was a titian in the area of African and Islamic studies. He was among the first to declare Israel’s occupation of Palestine to South Africa’s apartheid regime. He was a steady critic of exploitative capitalism; US and European military interventions, including the Iraq and Afghan wars; and western intervention in the developing world.
