No to Xenophobia Ocacia stands firmly and vehemently against xenophobia. As a Pan-African business with African owners from Ethiopia, Diaspora and South Africa we are an example of African unity. Ocacia is currently based in SA and as foreigners we make a heavy contribution to the development of South Africa by hiring/training people disadvantaged by apartheid and by bringing money into South Africa. Our clothes are exported all over the world as made in South Africa. Xenophobia is a crime of self-hate. There is absolutely no excuse for xenophobia. Those who cover it up, deny it, use it to gain political points, or whitewash it are complicit. And we do not stop at South Africa but our message extends to the new xenophobia coming out of America in the form of ADOS which uses the revolutionary structures of reparations to push right wing xenophobic agendas.
